WHAT DO YOU ACHIEVE?

Inspiration's Certificate in Interior Design & Decorative Techniques suits individuals, couples or renovator contractors who are planning to design for personal enjoyment or to undertake renovation of existing residential/retail projects.

 

This course will help participants gain a fundamental knowledge and understanding of interior design. This will be especially helpful for students who wish to communicate their ideas to other interior designers accurately and efficiently.

Certificate in Interior Design & Decorative Techniques

(12 Months)

Minimum Age 17 years old
Minimum Academic Requirements • 3 GCE 'O' Level subject passes
• 5 GCE 'N' Level subject passes
Language Proficiency • GCE 'O' Level – C6 in English language, or
• GCE 'N' Level – C5 in English language, or equivalent
Work Experience
For part-time course, applicants with design-related work experience are preferred. Work experience is not required only for graduating students of Inspiration Design International School Diploma in Interior Design course (both full-time and part-time).
International Students • Min Age: 17 Years old
• Academic Requirements: Completed Senior High School or   equivalent
• Test results achieved within the one year preceding application.

Applicants who do not meet the above requirements may also apply, but will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

 

» All applicants will undergo pre-course counselling conducted by recruitment staff before they enrol for a course with Inspiration.

» Applicants will be provided with the Inspiration Enrolment Form.

» All applicants who require a Student Pass are classified as International Students.   Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents, Work Permit Holders, S-Pass   Holders, Employment Pass Holders and Dependent Pass Holders do not require a   Student Pass.

» To apply, applicants must submit their completed Enrolment Form and supporting   documents.


(Documents Required: Passport / NRIC copy, Certified True Copy of highest qualification, 2 passport-sized photographs, Birth certificate [applicable to International students])

 

Please note that the authenticity of educational certificates and transcripts must be verified against the original documents.

 

If the application is approved, a Letter of Offer will be issued to the applicant.

To confirm your application, the application fee must be made, along with the submission of application documents. The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

All International students are required to apply for a Student Pass from the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA). This process normally takes a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks.

 

Student Pass holders are not allowed to work or apply for part-time work in Singapore.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

A student will be deemed to have completed a course when he/she has successfully met all the academic requirements. Upon the successful completion of the course, the student will then be awarded the relevant award.

 

The Graduation Exhibition is part of the School's curriculum and is mandatory for all graduating students. Students who fail to participate in the exhibition shall be deemed not to have completed their course of study.

 

The Graduation Ceremony is a compulsory event for all graduating students. The school has the right to withhold the issuance of documents (testamurs and academic transcripts) to students who fail to attend the ceremony, unless a valid reason is provided. If a student is unable to attend the event, he / she may appoint a representative to collect the documents on his / her behalf. An authorisation letter with a photocopy of the student's NRIC / Passport is required.
