Advanced Diploma in Interior Design
You will gain the mastery and skills to solve small and large-scale design problems, gain a sound understanding of building regulations, specifications and construction techniques, and appreciate the design principles of form and space, colour and light, as well as materials and finishes. Graduates will be eligible for employment as an interior designer with a keen eye for aesthetic & functionality.
Inspiration's Advanced Diploma in Interior Design programme will equip you with an advanced qualification. It will guide you to apply relevant design knowledge in a way that will enable you to gain entry into the professional design industry. At the same time, it will arm you with experience in design integration and innovation, nurturing a creative mind essential for long-term progress and sustainability in the design industry.
Inspiration adopts the following student-teacher ratios:
1. Inspiration Studio: average student-teacher ratio of 22:1
2. Animation Studio: average student-teacher ratio of 18:1
3. Passion Studio: average student-teacher ratio of 14:1

- Academic Requirements: Completed Senior High School or equivalent
- Language Proficiency:
- IELTS Min 5.5*
- TOEFL Min 500*
- Test results achieved within the one year preceding application.

Applicants who do not meet the above requirements may also apply, but will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- All applicants will undergo pre-course counselling conducted by recruitment staff before they enrol for a course with Inspiration.
- Applicants will be provided with the Inspiration Enrolment Form.
- All applicants who require a Student Pass are classified as International Students. Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents, Work Permit Holders, S-Pass Holders, Employment Pass Holders and Dependent Pass Holders do not require a Student Pass.
- To apply, applicants must submit their completed Enrolment Form and supporting documents.
(Documents Required: Passport / NRIC copy, Certified True Copy of highest qualification, 2 passport-sized photographs, Birth certificate [applicable to International students])

A student will be deemed to have completed a course when he/she has successfully met all the academic requirements. Upon the successful completion of the course, the student will then be awarded the relevant award.
The Graduation Exhibition is part of the School's curriculum and is mandatory for all graduating students. Students who fail to participate in the exhibition shall be deemed not to have completed their course of study.
The Graduation Ceremony is a compulsory event for all graduating students. The school has the right to withhold the issuance of documents (testamurs and academic transcripts) to students who fail to attend the ceremony, unless a valid reason is provided. If a student is unable to attend the event, he / she may appoint a representative to collect the documents on his / her behalf. An authorisation letter with a photocopy of the student's NRIC / Passport is required.

Industrial Attachment opportunities are open to all students who are enrolled on the Advanced Diploma in Interior Design programme. However, successful Industrial Attachment with an organization will be dependent on skills compatibility and rapport between the student and the company.
Aims:
- To maintain a high level of competency from our students because when they graduate, it is imperative that they not only do well academically but also in the actual workforce where they apply their knowledge.
- To expose students to the industry so they may gain much needed knowledge and skills through on-the-job training that will arm them for employment upon graduation.
- To find employment for all our graduates in the long term.
Industrial Attachment Period:
- Students are required to work as industry attachment for 3 months, not exceeding 44 hours per week.
Employer's Role:
- At the end of each month of the industry attachment, the company to which the student is attached will formally appraise his or her performance and submit the report to Inspiration Design International School.
Student's Role:
- Student reports to Inspiration's Academic Head every month (as scheduled) and submits his or her Student logbook for review.
- The student must record daily activities, observations, learning experiences and personal reflections on the daily and weekly summary pages provided in the industry attachment logbook.
- At the end of each week, the student should obtain comments or advice for improvement from their supervisor.
