AutoCAD 2010
The course allows students to be equipped with one of the leading drawing softwares in the design industry. Students will acquire the skills to design, draw and manage in the computer environment.
At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to produce compelling computer generated drawings and images to enhance individual professional portfolio. A certificate shall be issued upon successful completion of the course.
The duration for an individual tutorial is 12 hours
- Introduction to AutoCAD
- Getting started with screen, toolbars and dimension setting
- Organizing drawing with layers
- Using drawing tools- line with relative & polar methods
- Using object snap
- Using modify tools - erase, copy, move, offset, rotate, trim & extend
- Using draw tools - polygon, ellipse & rectangle
- Using drawing tools - construction line, polyline, arc, donut, alpine, ranging & text
- Using modify tools - explode, scale, lengthen, break, fillet, chamber & array
- Drawing properties
- Rendering with hatch tools
- Making & inserting blocks
- Importing images with raster image
- Generating plan & elevation drawing
- Generating construction drawing
- Plot setting / Plotting to scale
