It will guide you to apply relevant design knowledge in a way that will enable you to gain entry into the professional design industry. At the same time, it will arm you with experience in design integration and innovation, nurturing a creative mind necessary for long-term progress and sustainability in the design industry. With this qualification, you will be able to progress to the Advanced Diploma in Interior Design.

    2. Animation Studio: average student-teacher ratio of 18:1
    3. Passion Studio: average student-teacher ratio of 14:1

Note: Part-time course is open only to design practitioners who have worked in the industry for at least 18 months. It will thus not require students to conduct industrial visits and student research, which are compulsory components of the full-time course.

Entry Requirements:

Course DIPLOMA IN INTERIOR DESIGN
(18 Months)
Minimum Age 17 years old
Minimum Academic Requirements
  • 3 GCE ‘O’ Level subject passes
  • 5 GCE ‘N’ Level subject passes
  • ITE Graduate in relevant design courses
Language Proficiency
  • GCE ‘O’ Level – C6 in English language or
  • GCE ‘N’ Level – C5 in English language
Work Experience Part-time course is open only to design practitioners who have worked in the industry for at least 18 months. It will thus not require students to conduct industrial visits and student research, which are compulsory components of the full-time course.
International Students
  • Min. Age: 17 Years old
  • Academic Requirements: Completed Senior High School or equivalent
  • Language Proficiency:
- IELTS Min 5.5*
- TOEFL Min 500*
  • Test results achieved within the one year preceding application.

If the above entry requirements are not met or if students are unable to provide evidence of academic proficiency, they will be required to pass an English language proficiency test first.

  • All applicants will undergo pre-course counselling conducted by recruitment staff before they enrol for a course with Inspiration.
  • Applicants will be provided with the Inspiration Enrolment Form.
  • All applicants who require a Student Pass are classified as International Students. Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents, Work Permit Holders, S-Pass Holders, Employment Pass Holders and Dependent Pass Holders do not require a Student Pass.
  • To apply, applicants must submit their completed Enrolment Form and supporting documents.

(Documents Required: Passport / NRIC copy, Certified True Copy of highest qualification, 2 passport-sized photographs, Birth certificate [applicable to International students])

Please note that the authenticity of educational certificates and transcripts must be verified against the original documents.

If the application is approved, a Letter of Offer will be issued to the applicant.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

A student will be deemed to have completed a course when he/she has successfully met all the academic requirements. Upon the successful completion of the course, the student will then be awarded the relevant award.

The Graduation Exhibition is part of the School's curriculum and is mandatory for all graduating students. Students who fail to participate in the exhibition shall be deemed not to have completed their course of study.

The Graduation Ceremony is a compulsory event for all graduating students. The school has the right to withhold the issuance of documents (testamurs and academic transcripts) to students who fail to attend the ceremony, unless a valid reason is provided. If a student is unable to attend the event, he / she may appoint a representative to collect the documents on his / her behalf. An authorisation letter with a photocopy of the student's NRIC / Passport is required.
