Attendance Policy
Inspiration believes in the learning potential of every student who is enrolled in our school. As such, we take a serious view of attendance and require all our students to adhere to the following minimum attendance requirement :
- 80% - for a Singaporean or Permanent Resident
- 90% - for an international student who is a student pass holder
The Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) requires the school to report to them any student pass holder whose attendance fall below 90% in any one month or has been absent from class for a continuous period of 7 school days without valid reason.
Absence from class without a valid reason will lead to warning letters being issued and a possibility of termination of student pass.

Students on Industrial Attachment have to abide by the attachment schedule and maintain punctuality for the duration of the attachment. Students are required to submit to their supervisor the log book for endorsement of their daily duties and performance. Attendance for the attachment period will be based on the log book.
Each class/lesson is divided into 2 sessions - before and after break. Attendance is taken in BOTH sessions. You will be marked 'Absent' under the following conditions :
1. You are not present when attendance is taken 30 minutes after the class commencement.
2. You are not present when attendance is taken after the break.
Attendance may be taken anytime after the break, and not necessarily immediately after the break.
